Good morning, dear ones! After waking at 4 a.m. (UGH!) to drive home from Seattle this morning, I had high hopes of arriving in time to write you a long, newsy post. Alas, dense fog, pouring rain, and heavy traffic threw those plans right out the window. Instead as I look out my window at the aforementioned fog and pouring rain, I’m going to conjure up my own little sunny vacation with a few pics of sand, sun and water from a past trip to Cozumel. I hope they cheer your heart as much as they do mine. ๐
How are YOU? How was your weekend? What is your favorite memory of the last two days?
The last photo is great. So relaxing. You should frame that moment ๐
Last photo is so relaxing Krista – take me there! (lol)Sounds like you had a busy weekend, hope it was good…but ugh, 4am is early, hope you get some rest today! Happy Monday dear ๐
Krista, I am not familiar with Cozumel, sounds very exotic and a nice warm place to visit. Have a wonderful one.
I was so happy to find that picture, Tracy. ๐ I’d completely forgotten about it. It IS relaxing and helps de-stress me. ๐
You can have the one next to mine, Tuula! ๐ And some lovely fellow will bring us fruity drinks to lull us into naps in the setting sun. ๐
It is right across the water from Cancun, Elra. It is such a calm, laid-back and beautiful spot. Not the wild party town that Cancun is. ๐
I am envisioning myself lounging in a hammock. My favourite part of the past few days is talking to my daughter from Vancouver.
Oh no, I thought you were there! Well, at least you could return through your pics. ๐
Those photos are torture! I could use some bright light and warmth! I love the last one especially, Krista. ๐
RighO Krista, scramble off that hamock & let me have a go. This week has been crazy, filled with some great food memories and some ‘not so good people are crazy time of year in hospitality memories, but last night I sat around chin wagging with Mr HG & my lovely Momma after eating a wonderful chicken dish I dreamt up and more than the odd glass of white yummy wine, nothing like beautiful peeps, food & laughs to balance up the world again huh.
That sounds heavenly, Val! ๐ SO glad you got to spend time with your daughter. ๐
I sure wish I was, Andi! ๐ Maybe next year. ๐
I hear you, Nicole!! These dark, brooding skies are getting to be a bit much. ๐
