Good morning, dear ones! 🙂
I write to you with a grateful heart today because at long last I know what’s been causing me such pain the last three months: an obscure virus from the Ecoli family. I am on the right treatment now and each day I’m getting better and stronger. 🙂 I’ll have to do a lot of resting for the next while, but I’m so happy to have answers and the hope of getting back to my old self in the near future.
Thank you SO much for all your wonderful notes and phone calls and texts and emails through this painful time. You’ve made a dark time so much easier to bear. 🙂
Today I’m celebrating beautiful things, like these lovely views from inside Bled Castle in Slovenia. 🙂
How are YOU doing today? What beautiful things are making your heart happy?
So happy you figured out what was plaguing you love!
Wonderful (a tempered wonderful, though), news! Yay to getting healthy.
I’m SO glad to hear you’re feeling better and that you got it all figured out. Love those views, makes me think of all the stories those walls could tell or that I could imagine.
I’m looking forward to a walk on this beautiful day and then spending the weekend with my family, so stoked about that!
we have a couple of friends who spend their honey moon during the Summer in Slovenia. They had amazing time there.
Slovenia is on my to do list. One day I want to visit all of those countries bordering the Adriatic…Thanks for sharing.

Lovely views and lovely smiles have made my day special Krista. It seems all sunshine and happiness from your corner of the world:D
Thank you, Andi!! I’m pretty darn excited too. 🙂
Yay indeed, Duchess!! Recovery will be a while, but hooray for a start! 🙂
I know what you mean, Breanne! I think we could spin some mighty good yarns perched in a corner of this castle. 🙂 Your day sounds perfectly wonderful!
What a wonderful place to spend a honeymoon, WC! 🙂 I hope you get to go very soon. These countries are some of my favorite places I’ve ever visited. 🙂
I’m so glad, Val! Isn’t it amazing how a smile from someone can totally make your day? 🙂
So glad you are on the road to recovery. Slovenia sounds so beautiful – can’t wait to visit there later this year!
Glad to hear that you are on the mend! Bled was one of my favorite places in Slovenia! Gorgeous place!
Right now I am taking in the blessed green-ness beyond the doorway in your first picture and the exquisitely soothing sounds of Chopin’s Romanza into the very deepest deep of me where I shall keep it handy for rainy days. Thank you my love. And I AM so glad that you see light in the dark and that you’ll be better soon. I think you are one of the most courageous, heroic, lovely people I’ve ever known. Amen.
So glad you have figured this out and can soon feel BETTER. Lots of love,
Corrie
Good to hear you are on the way to recovering from the infection 🙂 Seen many nice things about Slovenia lately, I don’t have any plans to visit it, but it does look like a great place to spend some time.
Oh, what a dreamlike place! I could sit all day long in that room enjoying the incredible view.
Cheers,
rosa
I truly am so unendingly happy for you my love! Can’t wait until you’re feeling 100% again.
It’s amazing to me that people used to actually live in these castles!
Beautiful views from the castle! You must be so tired of feeling terrible! I hope this finally kicks it. Take care, Krista. xo
Your photos are lovely and it is so good to hear that you are on the mend. Have a wonderful holiday. Blessings…Mary
Oh dear, Krista!! I didn’t realize you were sick – I guess I’m not online enough. So glad the docs figured it out and got you on the right meds. I’ll be praying for your recovery. Bon courage!!
This place looks really beautiful … thanks for sharing
