I visited Istanbul 2 weeks ago and the tulips were in full bloom….everywhere. En masse or in close up like your lovely pics they really are a most beautiful flower.
Oh how nice, Jenny! I don’t have any flowers growing in my yard – unless you count chive blossoms – so I was thrilled to pieces when my friend gave me these. 🙂
What gorgeous photos! Tulips are my favourite cut flower, and right now it is the tulip festival in my city, so Ottawa is completely carpeted in them. After all the rain, it’s sunny here today too. 🙂

How wonderful, Sally! I had no idea tulips were prevalent in Turkey. Just one more reason I’d love to visit. 🙂
SO GORGEOUS. I wish there were more tulips in my life! I’ll just come here and ogle 😛
You come here ANY time, dear Joanne! 🙂 And you’ll find me here staring at the same pictures. 🙂
Stunning pictures, Krista! Love how spring-y and happy tulips are. 🙂
Thank you, Faith! Me too. 🙂 They cheer me tremendously. 🙂
I have that color in my front yard. I love them.
