βWhy do we love the sea?
It is because it has some potent power to make us think things we like to think.β
-Robert Henri-
Hi my lovelies! xo
It’s been a doozy of a day. My car broke down this morning (busted radiator), and my camera broke this afternoon, and my poor ankle is black and blue and hurts like blazes, and my ex-landlord doesn’t want to give me my damage deposit back because I “caused much trouble” by reporting the bad man to the police. Ayiyi.
On the bright side of things, I DID get my passport renewed on time (hooray!), I got my ticket to Amsterdam for only $337 (yahoo!), a detective friend at the Sheriff’s office is helping to resolve this situation with the naughty landlord (thank you!!), and I got to spend time with dear, dear friends at cooking club.
Isn’t life so very crazy sometimes?
All things considered, I decided today is the PERFECT time to whisk us all away on a vicarious jaunt to the beach.
I’ve saved a chair for you next to me, so let’s lean back, prop our feet up, close our eyes, and let the crashing waves and hot summer sun soothe our rumpled spirits and restore our strength.
“All shall be well,
and all shall be well,
and all manner of thing shall be well.”

peaceful !
I’m so glad it’s peaceful for you too, dear fisher lady. π
the ocean is like a heartbeat… the ebb and flow, in and out , pulse… pulse, I find the heart of God when I rest long enough at its shore and when my heart beats with God I find His rest and His peace and go away refreshed.
That sounds so beautiful. π
I especially love the Bosnia picture.
I think it’s my favorite too, Darlene. So wondrously serene. π
Oh Krista, I wish I could really join you in that chair on the beach…a little time for relaxation and rejuvination is sometimes the best thing for us!Β You’re right, life can be crazy at times…no matter what’s going on though, you always seem to see the bright side of things…you’re so inspiring, love!
I would love that, Faith!!! Wouldn’t we have the best talks? π Thank you for your kind words. I did NOT feel inspiring yesterday. More like hanging on for dear life. π SO glad for new days. π
lost of stuff happening! Hope you get all sorted out soon. Life is amazing with all of its vicissitudes. Enjoy you day at the beach! Weather is just perfect right now!Β
You said it, Chris! π Thank you for your kind words. π The weather is GORGEOUS!!
how I would love to sit in that chair by you. Β Talking or not talking, either way! Β
YES, my Kelley girl! That would make me happy beyond measure. π
Thanks for taking us on this journey Krista. This is the perfect ending to my day:D
You are most welcome, Val. π So happy it was a good close to your day. π
It sounds like you DO need to relax by the shore!Β But I am in awe of your cheap airline ticket!Β And your evil ex-landlord will give in, I’m sure.Β As for your ankle… chocolate does wonders for aches and painsΒ π
ha. i learned what those red flags in Cancun represented. after i went swimming. Picture me splashing about happy to be in the Mexican heat. the flopping down on the sand to read the Lonely Planet’s guide to Mexico. “BEWARE!!!” DO NOT SWIM IN AREAS MARKED BY SMALL RED FLAGS.” They indicate very strong undertoe. Oops. π I love adventures. But do notice that there’s no on swimmings?? Love you Krista!
I have enjoyed sitting with you, on the beach.Β Thanks for inviting me.Β Feel better and keep enjoying life.
