It’s gloriously sunny in Amsterdam today, and I wish you were here with me to sit on my brother’s terrace, linger over lunch, and have a good ol’ visit. 🙂
After we eat we could snooze in the sun and watch the clouds drift by.
Or watch the boats motoring along the canal below.
Then settle back to enjoy the sunset with a seagull perched on a nearby chimney.

We are so missing the sunshine! It rained so much in Ireland and now that we’re in the UK it hasn’t gotten much better. Hoping continental Europe turns it on for us!
I’m with you, Andrea!! I left cold, rainy Washington to get some real summer and have yet to find it. The sun DID come out this week though, and I loved it. 🙂 I hear other parts of Europe are sunny and hot though, so I hope that’s what you find. 🙂

Mmm – that smoked salmon looks so fresh and delicious – just like everything else on that plate! Makes me hungry. Sitting on a rooftop terrace and enjoying yummy food and beautiful views sounds like exactly what I would like to do on a sunny afternoon like this – in Amsterdam or anywhere else!! 🙂
