There’s a hint of Autumn in the air.
I can feel it in the morning crispness when I crawl out of my warm bed and have to pull a robe or sweater over my shoulders.
I see it in the kitchen windows that stay closed until well after the sun has risen.
And I taste it in endless cups of chai tea and creamy coffee that are what I’m craving most as I labor over the heaps of writing projects I’m tackling this week.
I’m loving every minute of it.
It makes me long for lazy afternoons of unhindered reading and quiet rambles through the Irish countryside.
Let’s wander a bit.
Where are your dreams taking you these days?
You know I think I’m going to have to try chai tea, you seem to like it quite a bit 😉 Beautiful black and white pictures Krista. My dreams are taking me on writing adventures.
I DO like it quite a bit, @wanderingsheila:disqus 🙂 I hope you enjoy it too!! Writing adventures sound absolutely delightful. 🙂 Can’t wait to read where they take you! 🙂
Thanks for the ramble through the Irish hillside Krista. The perfect way to jump start my morning.
You are so welcome, dear @openid-160865:disqus 🙂 Those beautiful places made my day too. 🙂

Gorgeous photos! I’ll admit I had to do a double take when I read autumn! I’m wishing and hoping for Spring here! xo
Thank you, @Cailins:disqus ! 🙂 It still makes me do a double take to think of Autumn happening in MARCH! 🙂 xo
Enjoy the rambling! Those are nice pics, K.
Thanks so much, @UlyssesSRant:disqus 🙂 I just knew you would fancy them. 🙂
My mind has been rambling in Vietnam, thanks to the Lunar New Year, and I did notice that it was not horribly hot this morning and wondered if Autumn is on it’s way. The B & W captures Ireland well.
I have never been to Vietnam, @budgetjan:disqus , but it sounds like a beautiful place for a mind to ramble. 🙂
My sis traveled to Ireland a year and a half ago to find relatives from the Old Country. She did even better than that-she got to visit the original cabin on the original property from a couple hundred years ago. There were still dishes and furniture in the house. She’s going back in a couple months. She loved Ireland.
What an amazing trip and discovery, @knittingthemoment:disqus !! 🙂 One day WE will go to Ireland together and track down that cottage for you. 🙂
I would dearly love to ramble in Ireland today, because it is so very hot in Perth lately. I envy you and your autumn crispness – send some my way!
You would’ve loved this morning, @openid-160052:disqus 🙂 It is beautifully crisp and sunny and SO refreshing. 🙂 Hoping it finds its way to your side of the country soon. 🙂
LOL – somewhere SUNNY!! Beautiful shots of Ireland – especially the beach and the cross…
Ohhh! I wish I could share some of my sunshine with you, @76b7f5617f998f38e3daf83409eb82fb:disqus 🙂 It is SO beautiful here right now. 🙂
So beautiful and idyllic…
Thank you, @DarjeelingDreams:disqus 🙂
Sun drenched Tuscany – always, although never been but on the grand plan! x those ancient celtic crosses are so emotive, I love them.
Oh yes!! Tuscany is my treasured place too, dear @bc700f7a2dff994b6fd7a151d97f18ce:disqus 🙂
